Starting to get the drivers arch into position. It’s only tacked to the B pillar for now but the gaps are looking ok. I’m struggling to get it to stretch to the a pillar properly though, I knew it was getting late as I managed to smack myself in the head with a lump of wood I was using to brace the arch! A job for another day I reckon.

Got the inner and outer driver’s wheel arch welded together today. Max came down to do the all important workshop crossword!

Finished up the last few bits on the bulkhead and got some paint on it all ready for the wheel arch and tub to go in. Nice to have all of this area finally closed up.

Finished off most of the B pillar and closing panel, bar a few pin holes. Some more tough love for Iris, cutting out the wheel tub in preparation for the donor tub to go in.

Grafted this piece in tonight. Nearly there with this section!

Donor driver’s wheel tub all prepped and ready to weld in. Even the seat belt mount is solid.

My wheel tub body cut arrived! It’s in such good condition compared with what ours looks like. I’ve made a start on unpicking it and managed to salvage the fiddly curved bit from the B pillar which I should be able to use to repair the final bit of our b pillar.

The majority of the bulkhead is now repaired I just need to finish the top bit where the box section of the arch fits.
Iv managed to source a wheel tub body cut for the bargain price of £45 so will be looking to fit that and the arch once this is done!

Drivers bulkhead bulge welded up. Should get the rest of the bulkhead welded this week in preparation for the arch.

Passenger cab floor dressed and zinc primed. Good as new now.

I’ve also fitted the passenger seat mounts to replace the previous bodged approach of just bolting the seat to the tub.

Making a start on the drivers side area now.
