Our Projects

Completed and ongoing restorations for our own personal fleet

Stevie

“Our biggest project to date. A ’65 splitscreen in dire need of a complete restoration, with an aim to build a ‘swamper’ style bus”.

Keen to undertake another restoration I spent a number of months scouring the internet for a suitable project. This RHD ’65 splitscreen turned up just 20 miles from my doorstep.

It needs a substantial restoration but is well worth saving.

Myrtle

“Destined to become our offroad Baja Bug rig.”

Bought for the bargain price of £650, Myrtle is destined to become our offroad Baja Bug rig.

A 1973 basic edition “sparkaffer” beetle, Myrtle is partway through a full restoration and should be back on the UK roads this summer.

Iris

“Back on the road and very much being used as originally intended for camping trips, hauling paddle boards down to the beach and bringing a smile to our faces”.

Iris, our 1972 right hand drive converted panel van, has been with us for the last 10 years.

Bought locally to us in Bournemouth she spent the first few years as our daily driver before being taken off road for the best part of 4 years for a full restoration.

Now back on the road and very much being used as originally intended for camping trips, hauling paddle boards down to the beach and bringing a smile to our faces.

Building practical yet eye-catching classics is what we do.
